“Farewell has a sweet sound of reluctance. Good-by is short and final, a word with teeth sharp to bite through the string that ties past to the future.”
― John Steinbeck, The Winter of Our Discontent
Seven years ago, with just 8 artisans and big dreams, we opened Make Good on Fern Street in South Park. Over time we grew to represent as many as 150 artists from San Diego and Tijuana, as we strove to embody a truer expression of what a local business could be.
However, after substantial health challenges that have impacted our beloved Make Good adversely, we've made the hard choice to close the doors to our South Park store. We'll be open through early October, with limited hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We'd love to see you, as this is a final opportunity for you to purchase some of our region's best handcrafted goods.
New Store Hours:
Friday 12 - 7
Saturday 11 - 7
Sunday 11 - 6
There's a lot to this story, both the history of Make Good that we're fiercely proud of, and the reasons of our closing. Please click to read more.
