South Park Fall Walkabout

Four times a year, the South Park neighborhood hosts a Walkabout. Businesses open up late into the evening, food and treats abound, music, people and more bring the neighborhood alive. It's a great time to come out and visit Make Good and have a great time.

One year? Are you kidding us? It's hard for us to believe, because in some ways it feels like we just opened the doors last week, but in other ways, it feels like years. No matter, because we're deeply grateful to you, our customers and fans, and the the city of San Diego for embracing along with us these amazing local artists from San Diego and Tijuana. So we want to celebrate, and do it right. Live music, great food, and celebrating together. This is us saying thanks to you, our artists, and our neighborhood, so don't miss it folks.
Mingei Craft on Tap

On Thursday, Make Good will be at the Mingei Museum in Balboa Park for their Craft on Tap event. It's our first event partnering with the Mingei, and ought to be a great time of DJ spinning, local crafted arts and craft beer consuming evening
Handmade Revolution Spring Trunkshow

Make Good is at the Handmade Revolution's third annual Spring Trunkshow at the Yellow House on B. The locally famous and muy delicioso MIHO Gastrotruck will be on-hand serving up tasty farm-to-street local food. Desserts, a shady patio and a chance to hang out with a bunch of artists can't be anything but fun, so stop on by.
South Park Spring Walkabout

It's that time again, when the neighborhood comes out, shops and stores open up and South Park welcomes Spring, Walkabout-style. Drinks, desserts and some really cool new artists are on tap, so stop on by.
South Park Holiday Walkabout

If you live anywhere near Southpark, you know the drill. Great times. Great neighborhood. Great holiday experience, as the community comes out in force to share some tasty holiday treats, get some holiday shopping done, and have a great time. As always, Make Good will have live music, tasty tidbits and warm drinks to take the edge of the frigid San Diego evening air. Hope to see you there.
Make Good curates a Trunkshow at The new Children's Museum of San Diego

Make Good is excited to partner with The New Children's Museum, in curating an arts event at their amazing facility downtown on Saturday, November 27th from 10am to 4pm. Make Good artisans, crafters and makers of good will be there in person, as we hold a trunkshow inside the museum. No admission to the Museum is necessary (though it's a great place for families to learn, explore and engage in hands on creative experiences).
Make Good does Dia de los Muertos

New Dia de los Muertos-inspired art from local artists (and some from just across the border in Mexico), along with some tasty Mexican holiday treats, will be featured. Dia de los Muertos, or "Day of the Dead," is a Latin American holiday, and is a day to remember loved ones passed. Beginning long ago as a religious tradition, it's often filled with mysticism and ritual. Coming along the day after Halloween (the official days are Nov 1-2), the holiday is often misunderstood (or ignored altogether) by American culture. We love it though, for it's purposeful remembering of those we love who have passed on, and the rich artistic and creative heritage that accompanies it. The entire neighborhood turns out for this seasonal event. South Park businesses open the doors, folks fill the sidewalks, it's like a giant block party. Make Good is featuring music by local artist Molly Jensen! We'll have tasty treats, drinks, and some terrific new art and locally handcrafted items debuting!
